Paint Protection Film (PPF), also known as "Clear Bra"

Here at Peerless Auto Salon we chose to use Suntek urethane paint protection film (PPF) to protect our clients' vehicles from rock chips, bird dropping stains, bug acid etching, and swirl marks. Our PPF is virtually impossible to see after it is installed.

Full Front End PPF Protection: This is the minimum protection we recommend for your vehicle. By purchasing the full front end it minimizes any lines made visible by half hood or fenders. This option includes both side mirrors as well as the dished areas under the door handles (if so equipped).

Full Body PPF Protection: This is the ultimate protection you can buy for your vehicle. By purchasing full body PPF it will give you complete paint protection from the elements. You should no longer be concerned about swirl marks from washing your vehicle, bug acid etching, water etching, bird dropping stains, or rock chips.

Ceramic Coating

Time: a few hours (plus cure time)
Longevity: 3 - 7 years (coating dependent)

Ceramic coatings are chemical polymer solutions that can be applied to the exterior of a vehicle to protect it from external paint damage. Applied by hand, the coating blends with the paint on your vehicle and creates an additional hydrophobic layer of protection. The vehicle's factory paint job remains untouched, due to the chemical bonding of the ceramic coating and creation of the new protection layer.

Most car enthusiasts and even some detailers think a ceramic coating is an alternative to PPF. That is not the case. Ceramic coatings are alternatives to waxing. The coating prevents dirt, grime, and stains from appearing on your vehicle's paint and ruining the clear coat.
